Beanstalk offers a variety of in-house services, from professionals in the industry.



Mariette is one of our founding members and runs the Beanstalk and Ou Stal kitchens. She has a passion for cooking, and stays at the forefront of the industry in terms of international trends and tastes. Mariette consults personally with each of our clients to ascertain their needs and requirements.


Jean joined our team in 2009. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, and studied under master Greek bakers before joining Beanstalk to become our resident pastry chef. For everything from indulgent crème brulee to towering croquembouche, dainty petit fours to impressive wedding cakes – he is your man. Check out our wedding cake inspiration.

Décor and Floral

Gerrit is one of our founding members. He maintains relationships with various external suppliers, and handles a lot of the correspondence between clients and the various role-players involved in their functions. A well-known figure in the wedding industry, Gerrit has been published for his décor and floral setups and has his finger on the look and feel of each event within the company at any time.


Roses, St. Joseph’s Lilies, Gerberas, foliage and more! Rolien consults with each client to ascertain their needs in terms of centrepieces, standing arrangements, posies and more. If you need to know what is in season and when, our in-house florist will gladly assist.

Wedding Hair and Beauty

Flo is a qualified hair dresser and together with her team, she runs operations of our Bridal Beauty Division – bang. Hair – with a fully fitted salon situated at our Brackenfell Premises, you can now also tick this off your to-do list when you pay us a visit.

Design and Stationary

Bianca is a qualified graphic designer. She oversees the development of wedding and event stationary, graphic requirements for events, printing requirements and media. Bianca personally consults with each client who requires our graphic service, and recreates their thoughts and dreams on paper. You are cordially invited...

Draping and Tenting Services

Bonita is our in-house draping and tenting expert and oversees the team who delivers, sets up and strikes the aforementioned. Both for our own events and for other coordinators, venues and the public, Bonita offers personal, friendly service and liaises between client, venue and coordinator. And why would we need an attorney, you say? Elaine provides wedding services such as anti-nuptial contracts and legal counselling for couples. She is also instrumental in ensuring that our corporate events adhere to the correct Health and Safety standards, and that the correct licensing agreements are in place.
